Admission Tickets

New York State residents and NY, NJ, CT students, the amount you pay for tickets is up to you.

If you wish to pay less than the general admission ticket prices, you may purchase your ticket at one of The Met’s locations with a valid ID.

Continue to purchase a timed ticket below if you are not eligible for suggested admission, are not a Member, or do not already have a pass or voucher for admission to the Museum.

All admission tickets include entry to exhibitions as well as same-day entry to both Met locations.

Note: To maintain physical distancing within the exhibition space, entry to Goya's Graphic Imagination may be closed to visitors arriving toward the end of the day. Please plan your visit accordingly.

Visitor Guidelines

To ensure that we are providing a safe environment for all, the Museum has the following additional protocols in place:

Face coverings are required for all visitors over the age of two.

Maintain physical distancing. Keep at least six feet from others.

Temperature check.

Wash hands and use hand sanitizer regularly during your visit.

Select beverage options are available.

Coat check is temporarily closed. No large bags.

Please follow directions from Met staff.

Please do not touch the art.

New York State Covid-19 Travel Advisory requires visitors from certain states or countries to quarantine for 14 days. If you are traveling to NYC from any of these states or countries, visitors are required to complete the online Travel Health Form.
