Details
Engage in deep observation and repeated responses to nature and landscape in paint based on Van Gogh’s creative process. With the guidance of artist Jaqueline Cedar, look, observe, and create multiple studies before your final painting. The workshop begins with a brief talk about works featured in the exhibition Van Gogh’s Cypresses and an introduction to Cedar’s iterative process before an in-depth demonstration of multiple techniques you can use to explore a single subject.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Van Gogh’s Cypresses.
