Only at The Cloisters can you celebrate the holidays with polyphony as medieval listeners might have heard it: ricocheting off the walls of the Fuentidueña Chapel's 12th-century apse! For one day only, the GRAMMY®-nominated Trio Mediæval bring their ethereal, old-meets-new vocal timbre to one of New York City’s most reverberant spaces. Join them as they weave strands of medieval sacred music, folk, jazz, and improvisation through six centuries of holiday music from Britain and Scandinavia.
All seats are unreserved and first come, first serve.
Tickets start at $70 ($65 + $5 service fee).
MetLiveArts tickets include Museum admission on the day of the event. For more information, call 212-570-3949 or email meteventtix@metmuseum.org.
This performance is made possible by The Howard and Sarah D. Solomon Foundation.
