New York State residents and NY, NJ, CT students, the amount you pay for tickets is up to you.  You may purchase your suggested admission tickets at a Met admissions desk with a valid ID.

Continue to reserve a date and time below if you are a Member, if you want to purchase a suggested admission ticket, or if you have a voucher or pass to enter the Museum.

This reservation only allows access to the Museum at the specified date and time; it is not your ticket to the Museum. You must either show your Membership card, purchase a ticket, or redeem a voucher or pass for admission to the galleries after you arrive at the Museum. If you are looking to purchase timed tickets for the Museum please see here.

Visitors and Members are required to have separate exhibition tickets for Making The Met, 1870–2020 and About Time: Fashion and Duration. These tickets are free of charge and can be reserved same-day; limited quantities are available due to health and safety guidelines.

Members can pick up exhibition tickets during check-in at any Member desk on the ground floor at the 81 Street entrance or in the Great Hall at the 82 Street entrance.
